My amazing friend Josh made this little video of me for a series Ontisuka Tiger are producing on young creative people. Seeing / hearing myself on film is totally weird and gross but it’s cool to look back on some stuff I did last year! Thanks Josh! (ps. please ignore how dishevelled / homeless I look while stressing out over how to paint a mural)

wholeo dome
Look at this incredible and fruity thing! The beautiful “Wholeo Dome” was created as an exercise in communicating using coloured light, which apparently everyone can experience, just by stepping inside.
It was built in 1974 (naturally) and is covered with curved, stained glass panels. In 2004 after being kept in storage for 20 years it was installed at The Farm School in...

rat lane
Has anyone else noticed an abundance of rats in Redfern lately? Are they hanging out like they own the joint cos it’s Summer? Man those guys are gross (will probably have ratty nightmares after drawing these)

leaving on a jet plane
How totally gorge and inspiring are these vintage luggage tags? Back when travelling was considered mega glamorous and baggage labels were status symbols! Divine! (taken from this incredible site)

Completely effing obsessing over the photography of Miles Aldridge at the moment. Those saccharine colour palettes and gorgeous glossy girls. Yum yums.

outpost
I went to see Outpost on Cockatoo Island this weekend. It didn’t really blow my mind or anything (although Kid Zoom’s life size recreation of his childhood home was pretty incredz) but it was a pretty kewl project in pretty weird and amazing surroundings.

dream dream dream
So I recently had the complete privilege of creating an installation for the window of The Standard Store on Crown Street in Surry Hills. I created a giant dreamcatcher - something I’d been wanting to do for ages, and as soon as I met the gorgeous Orlando & Nicola, I knew their window would be the perfect place for it.
We launched the installation on Thursday...

I love people who love colour as much as I do, so was excited to get a sneak peak into the rainbow world of Fred Butler. She has such a great approach and seems so gentle and sweet. I’ve always loved her work, so it’s very exciting to hear a bit more about her.
